Antonio Alberto “Tito” Serrano (born February 23, 1958) is a Protestant Evangelical Pentecostal Christian Pastor.

Early life

He was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, the third of three children born to Luis and Blanca Serrano. At the age of two his parents moved to Brooklyn, New York (Williamsburg). Antonio was dedicated to the Lord at “Eden” Assemblies of God church by Rev. Miguel Angel Rivera Pastor. Antonio at age 15 began (1974) his Biblical education at the Nocturnal Bible Instituted of the Spanish Eastern District Council of the Assemblies of God ( Manhattan Section) where he graduated with second highest honors (1978). Before a life in Christian ministry, Antonio initially pursued his interest in Radiologic Technology, he attended Bellevue Hospital School of Radiologic Technology from where is graduated Salutatorian. He married his wife, Haydee, in 1979 and they have three sons (Antonio Jr., Luis, Jeremiah), and one nephew who is like a son (Raymond L. Arroyo). Serrano entered Nyack College, Nyack New York  in 1982, where he graduated years later.

Ministry Career

Antonio invited Jesus Christ into his heart at the age of nine in a Royal Ranger outpost meeting (Scouting like Program). Since his true conversion in 1973 he has been preaching and teaching the Word of God (36 years). His first pulpit was the street corners of Brooklyn North preaching to the “who’s so ever will” listen.

Serrano became a minister of the Assemblies of God in 1981, and was ordained into the ministry in 1989, and served in New York City, New York under Rev. Porfirio and Julia Reyes (who prophesized the pastorate over his life) at “Sarepta” Assemblies of God for two years (1979), and under Rev. Luis A. and Rosa Rojas at Sea of Galilee Assemblies of God for ten years (1981). At both churches he served as the Youth Pastor, and Senior Commander of the Royal Ranger Ministry (his heart passion).

Antonio has Sheppard both urban and suburban congregations. He has held senior pastorates in Bushwick, New York (“El Calvario” AG, 1990-1994), Brentwood, New York (“Ebenezer” AG, 1994-1997), and Bay Shore, New York (Mission “Revival Tabernacle”, 1997- 1998). In September of 2004, Serrano and his wife Haydee became the Senior Pastors of Macedonia Assemblies of God one of the oldest Latino churches in New York City.

The education of our children has been in the hearts and minds of Antonio and Haydee. Along with the responsibilities of ministering and running a church they have co founded, directed, and taught in these two Christian Academies. The first one Calvary Christian Academy was located in Brooklyn, New York, and the other Ebenezer Christian Academy located in Bay Shore, New York.  In the mid-nineties Serrano was the host and first Spanish preacher on a all English speaking radio station with its call letters WLIX in Bay shore, Long Island New York. This program was called the Ebenezer Hour it was on the air Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The program was diversified to meet the needs of the whole family. The program has a large hearing audience with the air waves reaching as far as Bridgeport Connecticut.

Antonio is a popular and dynamic speaker, and a gifted preacher and teacher who is sought after by both the Spiritual community as well as the Radiology community. Serrano is often invited to speak on the areas of his expertise which are, but not limited to trauma radiography, ethics and values, church and general administration, Christian and public child care centers, church and community, leadership, reconstruction and building, and of course and needless to say the Word of God.

In conjunction with the ministry Serrano is a 27 year old Radiologic Technology veteran. Currently he is one of the Assistant Directors of the Radiology Department at Stony Brook State University Hospital and Medical Center at Stony Brook, New York.
